The Dedicated Container Division of Seapol Group
Seapol Group stretched its business into the container division as SEAPORT LINES (INDIA) PVT LTD. Within a very short span of time, the company has grown as competitive in the market.
The company began its journey by providing Freight Forwarding services at the Port of Chennai. Helped by a growing customer base, the company is able to secure a good market share in trade originating from Chennai and Mumbai destined to Far East, Middle East, South East Asia and African sectors.

As part of the group’s continued up-gradation, NVOCC commenced in 2008 and Seaport Lines began to operate overseas with associate companies.

Customs License & Trucking Fleet
In 2011, the company expanded its service in Custom Clearance and Transportation Business with the group-owned Custom House License and its own fleet operation, enabling it to meet customer needs for Customs Clearance and Transportation.
Infrastructure Milestone
5-Acre Tuticorin Depot Terminal
In 2013, the company ventured into the business of Container Depot operation at Tuticorin, located within 10 KM radius from VOC Port, Tuticorin.

Comprehensive Container Logistics Services
NVOCC & Agency Matrix
The company is focused on FCL shipments and provides space in various ocean liners serving major ports in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh and U.A.E. Seapol also handles containers of international principals in major ports in India, Malaysia and Singapore.
Custom House Agent
SEAPOL extended the service of Custom Clearance for Containerized cargo from the year 2011. The company has a License issued by Customs Authority of India and is registered in various ports like Chennai, Tuticorin, Karaikal, Krishnapatnam and Vizag. Cargo handled includes Sugar, Rice, Minerals, Granite and Spices.
Container Depot
Our Container Depot operates on 5 acres of SEAPOL-owned land at Muthiapuram Village, within 10 KM radius of VOC Port, Tuticorin. The facility provides empty container storage, repair and maintenance, reefer container handling, and empty container transportation.
Custom Clearance & Transportation Operations
Since 2011, Seaport Lines has provided Custom Clearance and Transportation services, supported by a group-owned Custom House License and its own fleet operation. The company also operates container trucks with National Permit for export, import and empty container movements
